GUNSITE OWNER REPORTEDLY EXPLORING RUN FOR ARIZONA GOVERNOR . . . The pro-gun constituency in Arizona may have a supportive candidate for governor, reports the Outdoor Wire. The electronic newsletter stated it had confirmed a “whispered rumor” that Owen “Buz” Mills, owner of Gunsite Academy, has filed the necessary paperwork to run for governor. The owner of the well-known shooting school reportedly had been making the rounds with Republican leaders for some time and decided it was time to step forward. He has formed an exploratory committee and is preparing for the August 2010 primary.
