Amsoil 0W-20 motor oil is the thinnest and best for lube.
The Amsoil MP (Metal Protector) is a spray on lube that
I use on my Glock 17 and my Mosin-Nagant sniper rifle.
I spray lightly on metal parts and let it sit to dry for about
a half hour. The wetness evaporates away leaving a dry
lubrication in the metal. Trap shooters use MP and they
say they don't experience the "heat waves" coming off the
barrel which distorts their sighting. I use this after every
cleaning, and only once so far on the inner metal parts, i.e.
trigger assembly and other hidden parts not directly affected by powder burn. I spray some MP on a clean patch and run
it through the inside of the barrel 2 or 3 times and let it sit for
the evaporation period and then I reassemble my Glock.
It doesn't affect any plastic or polymer and is great for the slides.

"Social Obligation" should be required reading in all American High Schools and Colleges. Not that I advocate high school kids carrying weapons at that age, but Americans should be aware that at one time in our nations history, the "people" were required to carry arms, primarily as a deterrent to a tyrannical government. Well, we now have a tyrannical government on the horizon, anti-gunnners running the government, and the people asleep at the wheel. History clearly shows that a disarmed populace is soon rounded up and exterminated. Robert Boatman, to be sure, did not mince words, and I'm glad there are Americans who think and conduct themselves like he did. They're our only hope.
May this hero and icon rest in peace. Thanks, Pete

Extremely well done video, informative and well spoken. I use SPEER 124 grain 9mm, bought it in bulk. Not hollow point. Has been a solid performer for the 3 years that I've had it. I have the Glock 17 and 19. Absolute works of art.
Will be watching your other videos now. Good stuff, and thanks! oilman

Hello,
I'm a new Gock owner and found you through your advertising on GlockTalk.
I haven't read your book yet but plan to order it and your father's title Living with Glocks.
This chapter was so good that I posted a new topic and link at my favorite forum.
Thanks, RM.

Reading the comments about this incident around the Interweb, it seems that women would rather dismember a rapist than kill him. Specifically, they repeat that the rapist should have had his penis bitten off. Their argument is that he could not rape again if his penis was removed. Maybe, technically. But an angry man without a penis is probably ten-times more dangerous than any man with a penis. The only way to prevent a rapist from raping is to kill him. Simple.

Magazine base plate removal:
This can be tricky if it's not clear and it can be impossible if you just start wrestling with it. The directions are clearly illustrated and described in my book: How to Customize Your Glock, availlable at www.customizeyourglock.com, but I'll describe the proceedure here:

First, there is no need to squeeze the sides of your magazine. I thought I had to compress the magazine at first too. Due to the internal design of the mag, however, this will only damage your mag.

1) Hold your mag butt-up with the witness holes facing away from you.
2) Insert your pin punch or Glock tool at least one inch into the floorplate hole. The pin punch will push aside an internal piece of plastic called the magazine insert.
3) Now pull the pin punch toward you. Pushing against the magazine insert, this will slide the floor plate off the magazine.
4) WATCH OUT! You are about to release the magazine spring. Put your thumb over the end of your mag or that thing will take your head clean off! Well, maybe not decapitate you, but it sure could take your eyeball across the room.

Good luck and keep on Glockin!

I have a question. Trying to put a mag extension on my 26 but can't compress mag sides to open. Do I need pliers? Don;t want to wreck it.
