Times are tough.  People are buying fewer TVs, cars, houses and other worthless junk.  Yet gun sales are up.  I guess people are not as stupid as we thought.

Unless you bought a bunch of guns at gunshows in the 1980s that you want to sell on GunbrokerGunsAmerica or AuctionArms, there is only one way to make money selling guns.  Get a Federal Firearms Licence.

An FFL is basically a wholesale license for guns.  You buy wholesale from dealers and manufacturers and you sell to the public with a mark up.  Difference is that the government (ATF, BATF or BATFE, whatever they want to be called today) has to check you out first.

Don’t do it just to save the $45.00 everytime you have a personal gun shipped to you though!  (Yep, it’s 45 bucks around here for an ffl transfer!)  The ATF awards FFLs to people who are actually in the business of making money selling guns.  There’s even a question about it on the form.  If you answer that question wrong, you will be rejected.

So how are we going to do this?  Where’s the FFL License Application?  What are the Federal Firearms License Requirements?  What are the Fees?  Where’s the Form?  Is there such a thing as a Home FFL?  Can we get just a C&R License (Curio and Relic License) for antique guns?  What about a Class 3 License (for machineguns and the like)?  Do we have to do background checks like FBI NICS?  What are the rules and regulations about Shipping Firearms?

Rodney Davis has got it all figured out for us.  Rodney has been running Davis Custom Firearms and Wolf Precision in Lubbock since 1997.  He’s helped many guys just like you and me turn their hobby into cash with his Federal Firearms License Kit.

The cool thing about Rodney’s program is that it’s electronic.  That means he can and does update it frequently.  That’s really important, particularly in these uncertain political times.  Plus, You don’t have to wait or pay for shipping a big heavy book.

So let’s make 2009 the year we finally do this.  You know you’ve been thinking about it for years.  We’ve got to jump on this before it’s too late!

Keep on Glockin’
