Mags aren’t cheap.  They are precision components of your weapon.  When dirty and worn out they can cause reliability problems.  Cared for, they can last a long time.  I still have pre-ban non-metal-lined mags that work flawlessly.  When I find magazines at a good price I grab them.  You never know what’s around the corner politically or economically.
