Glock Training in the Chicago Area
Morgan: The two books I bought are a big hit. J G loved it and went to reading right away. Last night I brought out the Glock 17 and proceeded to change the sights, add a laser sight built right into the frame, changed the trigger pull to 3.5 pounds and had a blast doing it. I used your book extensively during all this work. While the instructions that came with everything I bought worked nothing worked as well as you book on “How to Customize Your Glock”. So again thanks for a job well done.
I have arranged a second class for more friends and now there will be a total of 14 shooters working with Jack Manfre who teach’s the class. Jack is 83 years old and one grouchy old fart. He barks orders, yells, push’s everybody and is a complete fanatic on safety. This is just what we needed and he does a great job. Ask Jack a question about changing his way of teaching or making a suggestion on something new and exciting and his response is “We are done, class is over, get out”. With that said we never suggest change. My wife said “you did what” and I told her and she said “youre an idiot, he’s 83 years old dummy and they have their ways” Lesson learned.
I went to the Kansas City gun show, very big, very crowded. 9MM ammo was present with asking prices from $.28. to $.38 per bullet. It appears the shortage is about gone but prices are still holding high. I did manage to buy 100 round bulk boxes at the local Wal Mart for $.23 and store manger said “damn lucky you got them” as he said “we sell out in ten minutes”. Ok thanks for your email and if I ever find that rare old Volkswagon lying in the barn I know who to call.
