Part of History
Hi Morgan,
I would sure appreciate a pesonalization and signature for my book! I just bought my Glock 17 after Christmas. It is my first handgun that I have purchased. I liked it for the price, the innovative design and the reputation that Glock has. I agree wholeheartedly about your assessment of the owner’s manual that I tried to follow when I cleaned my gun after shooting it for the first time.
I do have my grandfather’s S&W Model 10 38 Special, but I have never shot that. Just keeping that for an heirloom. It has the original box and sales receipt from July 1966 with it.
I am really looking forward to getting your book and learning as much as I can about my Glock!
Thanks,
Mark
Mark,
That little S&W sounds neat. Never get rid of that. There is certainly something special about having your grandfather’s gun. When you’re ready though, I’d recommend getting to know it. Shoot it a little just to become part of its history.
Let me know what you think of our book after you get a chance to use it.
Keep in touch,
Morgan
Morgan,
“Shoot it a little just to become part of its history.”
I’d never thought of it that way. I had it in my mind that, it probably hadn’t been shot much, if at all, so if I shot it, it would somehow decrease the value of the pistol.
But, the reality of it is, if I don’t ever plan to sell it, that really doesn’t matter, does it?
Thank you for your perspective and guidance.
Mark
