Robert Boatman Lives On
Morgan,
I sent the previous note to you before I got to the bottom of your
webpage and learned that your father passed away in April. My
profound condolences. I so enjoyed reading his book. It is seldom
one finds an author who can write with such clarity. His position on
a topic, technical or political was never uncertain. The last
paragraph in the “Tropical Glocks” chapter “…the idea that the
requisite final answer to the enemies of freedom is not compromise but
extermination” really got my attention and was the genesis of my
question in the previous note — where are we at this point?
I am glad you are there to carry on for your father. We need more
people who know the meaning of freedom and what it takes to maintain
it.
Sincerely,
Bill
