Thanks for contacting me.  Your question is an old one in the Glock world.  Many have found themselves wanting just a frame/receiver for various reasons.  They may want a frame for their .22LR kit (www.advantagearms.com).  They may have botched a custom re-shaping project.  They may have purchased a Caspian (www.caspianarms.com) slide.  The unfortunate answer is that Glock does not offer frames alone.  The frame is legally considered the gun and it is relatively inexpensive compared to the slide to manufacture.  There is no incentive for Glock to offer frames alone.

 

There is one supplier of metal third-party Glock frames.  CCF Raceframes,LLC (www.ccfraceframes.com) makes metal frames for competition shooters.  I don’t think they are what you are looking for though.

 

If you want Glock reliability, you are going to have to buy yourself an SF-model Glock.  I am sorry, there is no way around that.  If you have the guts, you can dremel off plastic from your existing frame…. but you’ll still end up buying a new gun.  Check out ROBAR custom guns (www.robarguns.com) if you have the money to have a pro alter your weapon.
